So apparently this Yeasayer video was released in a timely fashion for Valentine’s Day, with romantic (?) themes, but it’s pretty downright silly, making us chuckle and think “what the hell is going on?” The video for “I Remember” features a biker, who, upon smashing a sculpture of his head, makes pretty pink smoke and summons a pretty chick who starts rubbing her face on his while he’s passed out. Enjoy the latest video from Yeasayer, which features Kristen Bell and her gross but strangely lovable ‘pet.’ The video is sort of WTF and a bit off-putting but really very sad and touching. What happened to raising just plain old dogs or cats?? Regardless, the tragedy of losing a pet is no less.

Yeasayer headlined Governor’s Island this past weekend in the biggest hipster traffic jam we have yet to witness. Track bikes, an open body of water, ferries, and the words “free concert” should never coexist; when they do, it smells like a whole bunch of dirty hair and sea spray. Ahhh summer. Delicate Steve and Keepaway were the concert openers and set the mood to a lovely shade of carefree fun. Enjoy our pics above. We included many crowd shots because everyone looked to be having so much fun and, let’s face it, it was a good looking crowd! Joining the Yeasayer tour is a good gig if you can get it. E to the X POSURE. So… props to Javelin; they officially announced the April dates they will be opening for Yeasayer. If you are desperate to see the two bands then keep hitting refresh on Craig’s List for tickets to their sold out show tomorrow night at Music Hall of Williamsburg, but it’s gonna cost you; last time I checked they were going for $60 per ticket.
