Go Team Gay! Add another player to the team. Up to bat, Vampi Weeker’s keyboardist, Rostam Batmanglij. OUT Batter Batter OUT! He’s so cute… like take him home in your pocket and admire him on your shelf cute. In an interview with Out magazine he is quoted with saying he hopes to inject “homosexual perspective” into the bands’ songs. 2 perspectives are better than 1, no? “homosexual perspective” into the bands’ songs. A song from their debut album entitled “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” is one that he spoke specifically on, stating, “I was disappointed when it didn’t become a gay anthem, but, you know, it’s not too late.”
