The French are putting us to shame in the American-invented arena of rock videos. Is this dearth of creative energies due to the demise of MTV? Or is it due to dwindling indie label budgets? Either way, I blame Jerry Lewis. The latest examples in this disturbing trend are Hold Your Horses’ 70 Million video and this gem from Jamaica (formly Poney Poney). The good old usa (pronounced ooosah) needs to step it up. Enjoy “I Think I Like U 2;” it’s painfully good. Touché Frenchies, touché. This means war.
