This is my favorite song on It’s a Blitz mostly because it’s the only one on the album that is intrinsically Yeah Yeah Yeahs sounding; drums up-front in the mix driving the sound with Nick Zinner on the guitar as opposed to being relegated to the synthesizer. You know – rock and roll. The video is fantastique with an ethereal and seraphic vibe punctuated by a touch of the macabre via a graveyard scene and some well placed smoke and skulls. You know – rock and roll. The making of the video is equally enjoyable as the mini-film itself so I included it below as well. And is it just me or is Karen O looking mighty fine these days.
