Indeed, the first post of the new year, and for that matter, the decade is a Britney post. Why you ask… because It’s Britney Bitch. Now, there’s a method to my madness here, just hang in there. In my ever so humble typically heavily critical opinion, Britney is on a short list of 3-5 people that could rightfully be called the performer of the decade. And while Miss Brit Brit is nowhere near the top of her game (read near rock-bottom nadir), it’s a new year and this directors cut of “3″ is a reason to hope for more. I believe the new cut is an indicator of some much needed self-awareness i.e. girlfriend knows who her die-hard fans are: the gays and dancers (so the gays). She knows that we stick in there with her during thick and thin and forgive her crazy antics cause homegirl can dance. The new version of “3″ is a bit more dance intensive, ever so slightly, which is a vast improvement upon the first version’s close-ups of nappy weave.
I also included this previously unreleased cut of Brit lip-syncing “Toxic”. THIS is the Brit we need back in 2010. THIS is the Brit that could give Gaga a run for her money. This Brit has unrelenting focus and hunger in her eyes not to mention a killer bod and come-hither sex appeal oozing from every airbrushed pore. This Brit makes you want to don a blonde weave and stand in front of a high velocity fan with Swarovski pasties on in front of your mirror no matter your gender or sexual orientation. For all that is holy and good in this world let’s say a prayer that ‘Toxic’ Britney reappears in 2010.
