Having had the privilege of seeing Imaad Wasif up-close and personal at Union Pool during CMJ, I cannot relay accurately enough how tight the sound is at his live show (and how thin he is… like Olive Oyl, he disappears when turning sideways). Like bounce a quarter off the reverb and sip your coffee on the steadiness of the drum line – tight. Below is the video for “Fangs” and just so you know he sounded every bit as heavy and mellow that night in the tin can that is Union Pool. Oh, and he shreds; the man can shred.
