So I was talking to my friend Chase yesterday and he passed on some gossip from another friend that The Jesus Lizard may be playing Vice’s Annual Halloween Party. And I said “That’s cool” without really knowing what I was talking about and he said “Is it?” The Jesus Lizard is the type of band that those afflicted with the tragically hip virus (its not airborne… yet) pull out of their sleeve when they feel cornered in a game of ‘name that painfully obscure tune.’ TJL has been around for a while and I just checked them out and there’s is pretty solid stuff. Get familiar at their show at Irving Plaza on the 16th and 17th of November.
