Imaad Wasif. The name probably already rings a bell because he’s the touring guitarist for The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but just in case it doesn’t commit it to memory; he is on the verge of being a household name… you know, in hipster commune dens. His latest album, his third, The Voidist is out on Teepee Records and its groovy in a very 70′s Zep/Deep Purple inspired kind of way with a smattering of early 90′s guitar. I’m projecting heavy radio rotation and a featured track on Gossip Girls very soon.
